The People Want to Know
How Many Cats Do You Have?
I currently have two boys! They are featured in the pictures above! Their names are Aldous, after Aldous Huxley. (Get it?) And Dakota because the name just stuck. Aldous is a silly clown and Dakota is the best at cuddling. I love them so much. While I have two now, that number is always subject to change!
Which Golden Girl Are You?
While I’m the Sophia of my friend group, because I tend to walk around and make snarky jokes at people that I hope will get a laugh, I also identify with Rose. That is because I try to be kind, I love animals, and at times, I can be a bit of a naïve idiot. I would say I’m a Sophia/Rose hybrid. And I hope to be like them both when I’m older, especially when it comes to telling stories over cheesecake and with my best friends.
What’s a Thing That Makes You Unique?
I see the world a little differently than everyone else. I have a form of synesthesia called ordinal linguistic personification. That means I personify numbers and letters. I’ve done this as long as I can remember, and until college, I actually thought everyone did it. It’s hard to explain, but basically, when I look at numbers or letters or when I’m writing them, they feel alive to me and I can feel and see their personalities. I actually wrote a play about how I see some of the letters called The Letter Personification Project (now retitled The Trouble with Spelling Happy).
